Right now, you just need to be thinking of character concepts/background... Here are some questions to get the creative juices flowing... What were you before the Apocalypse?... What did you do?... Where were you when the World went to Hell (quite literally)?... What was your reaction to Millions of Undead clawing and screaming their way into your home and out of your Lakes and Swamps?... How did you survive the first few weeks of the onslaught to make it to your Emergency/Evacuation Shelter (George Jenkins High School)?... (Remember: SLC undead are particularly nasty... fighting face to face is not an option for a level zero character) Do you still feel useful in a World without (or very very limited use of) electricity?... How do you make yourself useful?... How do you view the Apocalypse? (ie: What do you think really happened?)... Was it Judgement from God?... An Iranian Super Weapon?... A Government Experiment gone horribly awry?... Or an Alien Invasion?... (Remember, these characters should have no knowledge of prior SLC events... names like Darius, Jason Ash, Jin Jao Long, or any other SLC character should be totally foreign...) A quick side note: George Jenkins High School is going to be the players Home Base... you have a year of Game Time to get them there for the start of the campaign... you need to tell me how they ended up there if it wasn't their Shelter... (ie: if you're from North Lakeland, you shelter is Lake Gibson High or Kathleen High)... So, let's see what you come up with...
